Software for England businesses
England's economy is too varied to describe in one sentence, and that is exactly why off-the-shelf software so often falls short here. A wholesaler in the Black Country, a law firm in the City of London, a food processor in the Lincolnshire fens and a games studio in Guildford all run on different data, different rules and different customers. What they share is a set of UK systems that their software has to talk to.
Most English businesses we speak to already rely on some mix of Xero, QuickBooks or Sage for accounts, Shopify, WooCommerce or OpenCart for online sales, Microsoft 365 for email and documents, and a carrier or courier for deliveries. The gaps between those tools are where staff lose hours: orders retyped into accounts, stock counted in a spreadsheet, reports stitched together on a Friday afternoon.
- Manufacturing and engineering across the Midlands and the North, where job tracking, bills of materials and quality records rarely fit a generic package
- Financial, legal and professional services concentrated in London, Leeds, Manchester and Bristol, where client portals, audit logs and role-based access matter most
- Logistics and distribution along the M1, M6, A1 and A14 corridors, where warehouse, carrier and ecommerce systems need to agree in real time
- Agriculture, food and tourism in rural counties, where seasonal demand and booking systems shape the software
England is also home to a large network of universities and science parks, from Cambridge and Oxford to Nottingham, Sheffield and Newcastle, which keeps spinning out start-ups that need an MVP or a SaaS platform built properly the first time.
We work with English businesses entirely remotely from Mansfield. Discovery happens over video, code lives in a repository you own, and you see working software at each stage rather than a big reveal at the end.

How we work with England clients
We work remotely from Mansfield, Nottinghamshire, using video calls, shared staging sites you can click around in and short build stages you can see. Every project gets a fixed-price quote after a free initial chat and a short scoping stage. You own the code and the data. We have been building software and integrations for UK businesses since 2006.
Free chat
Tell us the problem in plain English: what you do now, what goes wrong and what "better" looks like. No charge, no obligation.
Scoping
We map the processes, systems and data involved, agree what is in and out, and write it down so there are no surprises.
Fixed-price quote
You get a fixed price for the agreed scope, or a phased plan for bigger builds, so you can start small and prove it works.
Build and test
We build in short stages you can see and try, test against real data, then go live carefully with a rollback plan.
Hand over and look after
You own the code and the data. We can host it, support it and keep improving it, or hand it to your own team.

Frequently asked questions
Do you work with businesses anywhere in England?
Yes. dijitul works with businesses all over England from our base in Mansfield. Discovery, demos and progress reviews happen over video calls, so distance does not change how the project runs. If a site visit genuinely helps, for example to watch a warehouse process, we can discuss that during scoping.
Can you integrate our software with English-specific systems like HMRC Making Tax Digital?
Making Tax Digital is UK-wide rather than England-only, and yes, we can build against the HMRC MTD APIs or, more often, sync your data into accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks or Sage that already handles the MTD submission for you.
How do you price a project for an English business?
Every project gets a free initial chat, then a scoping stage, then a fixed-price quote for a defined scope. Larger builds are split into phases so you can approve each one. You own the code and data at the end, wherever in England you are based.
Tell us what you need to build
