# Software Development across Yorkshire and the Humber

> dijitul developments builds bespoke software, web applications and integrations for businesses across Yorkshire and the Humber, including Leeds, Sheffield, Hull, York and Bradford. We work remotely from Mansfield, just south of the Yorkshire border, with video calls and staged demos. Every project begins with a free chat and is priced as a fixed-price quote.

Yorkshire and the Humber is several economies in one. Leeds is the largest financial and legal centre in the North outside Manchester, with banking, insurance and law firms concentrated in the city centre, and Channel 4 now has its national headquarters there. Sheffield built its reputation on steel and still leads on advanced manufacturing, with the University of Sheffield's Advanced Manufacturing Research Centre working with engineering firms across the region.

On the coast, Hull and the Humber ports handle large volumes of trade, and the area has become a centre for offshore wind, including the Siemens Gamesa blade factory in Hull. Grimsby is synonymous with seafood processing. York mixes tourism, rail heritage and confectionery manufacturing, while Bradford and the wider West Yorkshire area have strong textiles, manufacturing and food businesses. Large parts of North Yorkshire are rural, with farming and tourism at the centre.

Those sectors create different software needs. Financial and legal firms in Leeds want secure portals, case or matter workflows and Microsoft 365 integration with proper audit logs. Manufacturers in South Yorkshire need job costing, routing and quality records that their ERP does not quite cover. Port, energy and logistics businesses on the Humber need systems that pull data from carriers, customs brokers and customer portals into one view. Food processors need traceability from intake to dispatch.

Universities including Leeds, Sheffield, Sheffield Hallam, Hull, York and Bradford also produce spin-outs that need an MVP or SaaS platform built to last.

dijitul has no office in Yorkshire. We work from Mansfield, which is a short drive from Sheffield, and run projects remotely with shared repositories and regular demos.

### Can you work with our Leeds or Sheffield team remotely?

Yes. dijitul works remotely from Mansfield with businesses across Yorkshire. Discovery, demos and reviews happen over video calls, and your team tests each stage on a staging site. Sheffield is a short drive from Mansfield if an in-person workshop is genuinely useful.

### Can you add features our manufacturing ERP does not have?

Often, yes. Many manufacturers keep their ERP for core accounts and stock, then add a bespoke web app for job tracking, shop floor data entry or customer portals, connected through the ERP's API or database. We scope the integration first and give a fixed-price quote.

### Do you cover Hull, York and North Yorkshire as well?

Yes. We work with businesses across the whole of Yorkshire and the Humber, including Hull, Grimsby, York, Harrogate, Scarborough and rural North Yorkshire. Because projects run remotely, location makes no difference to how we work.
