> dijitul developments builds bespoke software, web applications and integrations for Gateshead businesses, including manufacturers and distributors on the Team Valley, retailers, venues and service companies. We work remotely from our office in Mansfield, and every project starts with a free chat about how you work, then a fixed-price quote for the agreed scope.

Gateshead faces Newcastle across the Tyne, and its business economy has a character of its own. The Team Valley Trading Estate, built in the 1930s, is one of the largest trading estates in the UK and is home to hundreds of businesses, from manufacturers and engineering firms to wholesalers, trade counters, distributors and offices. It remains the backbone of Gateshead's industrial economy.

Retail and leisure are also major employers. The MetroCentre, one of the largest shopping centres in the UK, sits beside the A1, and the Gateshead Quays riverside is home to the Baltic Centre for Contemporary Art and The Glasshouse International Centre for Music. That supports hospitality, events and visitor businesses.

Gateshead College provides technical and professional training, and the borough's location on the A1 and close to the Port of Tyne and Newcastle Airport makes it a practical base for distribution.

Team Valley firms are mostly established small and mid-sized businesses. Many have grown over decades and now run on a combination of an ageing system, spreadsheets and email. The common problems are orders being keyed twice, stock that is never quite right and reports that take days to put together.

- Order, stock and dispatch systems for manufacturers and wholesalers
- Trade counter and B2B ecommerce integrations
- Event, venue and ticketing tools for hospitality businesses
- Modernising ageing in-house systems without losing data

We usually start with the job that wastes the most time each week, fix that first and build from there, so you see results early in the project.

### Can you modernise the old system our Team Valley business runs on?

Yes. dijitul starts by reviewing the existing system and its data, then builds a modern web application that covers what you use today and fixes what frustrates you. We migrate data carefully and can phase the switch. Each phase gets a fixed-price quote after a free chat.

### Do you cover Whickham, Blaydon and Birtley?

Yes. We work with businesses across Gateshead borough, including Whickham, Blaydon, Birtley, Felling and Low Fell, as well as Newcastle, South Tyneside and County Durham. All delivery is remote from our Mansfield office.

### Can you link our trade counter and online orders to one stock system?

Yes. We connect EPOS, B2B ecommerce, marketplaces and your stock system so every sale updates the same stock figure in near real time, and orders flow to your accounts. That stops overselling and removes manual stock adjustments.
