> dijitul develops bespoke software, web applications and integrations for Chichester businesses, including glasshouse growers, motorsport and events suppliers around Goodwood, tourism operators and professional firms. We work remotely from Mansfield, and every project is given a fixed-price quote after a free chat, so the full cost is agreed upfront.

Chichester is a small cathedral city with an unusually varied economy. It is the home of West Sussex County Council and the University of Chichester, and the Chichester Festival Theatre is one of the country's leading producing theatres. The Goodwood Estate, just north of the city, hosts the Festival of Speed, the Goodwood Revival and Glorious Goodwood horseracing, and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars builds every one of its cars at its Goodwood plant.

The coastal plain around Chichester is one of the UK's most important areas for glasshouse horticulture, growing salad crops, peppers, soft fruit and flowers for supermarkets. Chichester Harbour, a National Landscape, supports marinas, sailing schools and marine businesses, and the city and nearby coast draw large numbers of visitors.

That gives Chichester businesses a distinctive set of software needs:

- Crop planning, picking, packing and supermarket order systems for growers

- Accreditation, credential and supplier management for large events

- Booking and berth management for marinas, sailing schools and activity providers

- Supplier quality and traceability tools for automotive supply chain firms

- Booking and guest management for hotels, holiday lets and attractions

Growers supplying supermarkets work to tight daily order windows and must prove traceability from glasshouse to pallet. Software that turns customer orders into picking plans, prints compliant labels and records each batch can replace a lot of late-night spreadsheet work. Event suppliers have a different problem: thousands of staff, contractors and passes to manage for a few intense weeks each year, which suits a focused web application with self-service registration.
